Former Cabinet Minister Simeon Nyachae will be buried at a private event scheduled for Monday, February 15, at his Nyosia village rural home in Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County.
This was revealed Wednesday in a statement by his son Charles Nyachae on behalf of Nyachae’s family and funeral committee.
A burial service is planned for the same day at Nyanturago Stadium from 9am thereafter the procession will leave for his home.
A church service has been planned for Thursday, February 11, at the Nairobi Central SDA Maxwell Church for family and friends of the Nyachaes commencing from 10am.
Nyachae, who was born on February 6, 1932 in Nyaribari, Kisii County to powerful colonial chief, Musa Nyandusi, died on Monday at the Nairobi Hospital after a long illness.
