Deputy President William Ruto has told off ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga for attacking the ruling Jubilee government and told him to tone down his political rhetoric.
Ruto instead challenged Odinga to tell Kenyans what he had done to improve their lives, accusing the former Prime Minister of abandoning his opposition role to join government.
Speaking in Narok County, he wondered why Odinga was unhappy with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee administration yet he was working with it.
“When did you start realising that the same Jubilee you are in is not doing enough for Kenyans?” Ruto asked.
He also defended DP position, saying it was his role to speak up for the party when it is being criticised harshly over unfulfilled pledges made to Kenyans since ascending to power in 2013.

“The Jubilee track record speaks for itself. Raila should show what he did during his time in government and in the opposition,” added Ruto.
Speaking during a funds drive for 22 Churches at Ntulele in Kilgoris Constituency, he defended his ‘hustler’ label, saying he seeks to benefit the poor by changing the development agenda.
