Fourteen people have sustained serious injuries after the 14-seater public service vehicle they were travelling in got involved in a serious accident.


The 14-seater PSV was involved in a head-on collision accident with a truck at Kwa Mbira Gichagi Stage along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

Well-wishers rushed to the accident scene and began the rescue mission of the passengers.

All the 14 passengers who were in the accident were rushed to the Limuru Nursing home while those who were in critical condition were transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital.

So far, no fatalities have been reported from the incident.

The accident caused a traffic jam on that section of the road because the track overturned and blocked one side of the road.


Traffic police officers also arrived at the scene and helped in controlling the traffic.
