Police have arrested four suspected robbers believed to be part of the group who attacked and robbed tourists of their valuables at a game drive within Buffalo Springs Natural Swimming Pool in Isiolo County.
The National Police Service confirmed the arrest of the criminals in a statement issued via their Twitter account on Wednesday.
The incident was captured on camera and the video, which has since gone viral has shocked many Kenyans who are now sceptical about their safety and security in the country.
In the video, the criminals could be heard inquiring why the tourists did not have cash on them and someone presumably the tour guide is heard telling them the tourists do not carry cash around rather ATM cards.
“How come these white people do not have money?” one thug inquired.

“They usually deposit money into their ATM cards and you have already taken mine,” the guide could be heard saying.
Another criminal is heard saying they were only after money and not the occupants of the vehicle.
“We are looking for the money, we are not looking for the people,” the other criminal said amid appeals from the tour guide begging for their lives to be spared.
The criminal continued ransacking the vehicle as he assured the guide they will not kill anyone.
“No we cannot, just tell them we are not looking for them. We are looking for the money,” the criminal said.
