The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) has issued a notice outlining the only platforms through which its members will remit their contributions.

NHIF made the announcement in a statement on Friday informing its members about the change

“This is to inform members and employers that they should ONLY use the following channels to remit their NHIF contributions:”

According to the statement, NHIF has listed only 6 channels through which it will collect the contributions and they are:

6. NHIF MPESA Paybill number 200222

Under NHIF MPESA, NHIF has advised Self-employed members to use their ID Number as the Account Number while employers have been advised to use E-slip Number as the Account Number.
