Former Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has announced his exit from the Twitter and Facebook social media platforms.

Kuria announced his exit from the two platforms on Tuesday, saying he has achieved his objective, which he did not specify but subtly hinted at.

He further said President William Ruto is the 5th President of Kenya, which is widely perceived as his objective.

“My objective has been achieved. My good friend William Ruto is the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya,” Kuria tweeted.

According to the Chama Cha Kazi party leader, he will delete his Twitter account, which has 336,146 followers and his Facebook account, which has 794,000 followers on Wednesday at 6 pm.

“This account will be permanently deleted on Wednesday 14th September, 2022 at 18:00 hours. It was great interaction guys. Adios!” he wrote.

Kuria’s exit from social media comes after the former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i also deleted his Twitter account, which was so interactive and had many followers.

Kuria was a supporter of the president during the campaign and his party was an affiliate party of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, which propelled Ruto to the country’s highest office.

He also vied for Kiambu County’s gubernatorial seat but was unsuccessful after UDA’s Kimani Wamatangi clinched the seat.
