The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga and his deputy Martha Karua met the legal team after grueling sessions at the Supreme Court during the presidential election petition hearing.


Raila lauded the legal team led by Senior Counsel James Orengo for exemplary work during the submission.

The Azimio leader took to his social media to express the legal team for the work they did.

"Fantastic work," Raila wrote

"We thank our entire legal team."

Raila and Karua engaged the lawyers in hearty conversations sharing emotional moments accentuated by hugs and laughter.


Karua also took to her Twitter account to express her gratitude to the legal team.

"The Women and Men who worked tirelessly and selflessly in representation of The People to defend the Truth and uphold Justice," Karua tweeted.

"Asanteni Counsels."
