Kenyan professional athlete and three-time world steeplechase champion Ezekiel Kemboi endorsed the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga for the presidency.
Kemboi endorsed Raila on Sunday during the Azimio coalition political campaigns that took the party to Deputy President and Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate William Ruto’s backyard in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
Kemboi told residents of Eldoret that the former premier is the best candidate for the region, as he termed himself as Raila’s last bort.
"I have come here as ‘Baba's’ last born. My name is Ezekiel Kemboi Amollo," Kemboi said.

The champion assured the youth from the region that he would be with them on the ground therefore there would be access.
"When you see me here, as you see me here, I will deal with matters affecting the youth. You will not need to call. I will always be home. I will welcome you home," he said.
Raila and his running mate Martha Karua led the Azimio coalition team on a campaign trail of the Rift Valley region in last-minute efforts to add more votes into their basket ahead of the August election.
