The Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has suggested that he may work together with the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga in the future.

Wajackoyah was speaking in Kisumu county where he was on his Western Kenya campaign trail.

He appealed to the people of Kisumu to either vote for him or Raila because they both come from the same region and share the same heritage.

Wajackoyah mesmerised the residents of Kisumu with his fluency in Dholuo, the language which he largely used while campaigning in the region.

“I am made to understand Baba came from Wanga (Kakamega), so we still have his bedroom in Mumias. I am a neighbour here and as you know, I am in the race with Baba. A victory for either of us will be a win for the Western region,” Wajackoyah said.

Wajackoyah cautioned the Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate William Ruto against insulting Raila and his ODM party.

“This is the home of Baba and it must be respected. There is this young man from Sugoi who is usually abusing Baba, when he comes here shout at him and tell him to leave Baba alone,” Wajackoyah said.

The controversial politician promised the residents of Kisumu county that he would utilise the land in Miwani, Chemelil and Muhuroni, which were utilised for sugarcane farming for growing marijuana which he so fervently advocates for.

Wajackoyah promised to revive the country and create an environment free of corruption. He said corrupt individuals would be hanged by his administration.

“We will build a new Kenya with those who are clean. All corrupt individuals are gifted with positions, I will hang them,” the Roots Party leader said.
