The National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has slammed a section of Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders he accused of stirring trouble within their alliance.
Muturi was speaking in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County during the county’s Kenya Kwanza economic forum.
The speaker’s slur was aimed at the Tujibebe Party leader William Kabogo, TSP Party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri and Chama Cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria.
Muturi said the trio’s recent public outbursts may create divisions within the alliance.

The speaker said they all joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance willingly, based on similar ideologies they all uphold and therefore should abide by the policies in the alliance.
"Every player in the party teamed up with UDA out of their own volition. This is because their policies and that of the party were in close resemblance and no one was pressured to join," Muturi said.
Muturi faulted Kenya Kwanza principles for publicly questioning the alliance’s presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagu’s suitability for the position.
He said that Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA party has the right to campaign for its candidates.
Muturi challenged the complaining party leaders to be at the forefront of campaigning for their alliance if indeed they believed in its ideals.
"If you genuinely believe in the ideals of the coalition, then you should be in the lead to support his suitability," Muturi said.
He cautioned his fellow principals to watch their remarks regarding matters of their alliance, saying none of them was coerced into joining.
Muturi also said such public spats and late complaints by the section of leaders would not yield any fruits since the time to negotiate terms with the alliance was long gone.
Kabogo, Kiunjuri and Kuria have bitterly complained of being sidelined by UDA in the recent past.
They have also claimed the Kenya Kwanza running mate is not suitable for the position as he was a dictator and was also unpopular.
