Former Chief Justice Evan Gicheru will be buried on Thursday, December 31.

This has been announced by his family after Justice Gicheru died on Saturday morning at the age of 79.

Chief Justice David Maraga on Satuday announced that the former CJ died on Saturday morning but did not disclose what killed him.

Other burial arrangements are set to be announced in the course of next week. 

This comes as tributes continue to flow in from different leaders across the political divide.
