The Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is set to embark on a serious campaign trail that will start on Thursday from Mlolongo and end in Mombasa.
Kalonzo through a press statement released on Wednesday at the Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Center said he and his Wiper team will embark on the campaigns to drum up support for the Azimio la Umoja flag-bearer Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
He said he would be joined by other members of the OKA team on the campaign trail and urged all the Wiper members who were nominated under the party and have to tickets to join him and others in the venture.
He also announced that the former governor for Nairobi Mike Sonko will join him on the campaign trail.

“All the candidates, particularly those who have the tickets…the Wiper Democratic Movement tickets are also welcome to join us. We will be drumming support for our presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga and we will be joined on this trip by Governor Sonko. As a matter of fact, it will be like a grand entry for Governor Sonko into Mombasa,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo said this time around things have to be approached from a different angle.
“This time, I think it is clear that we must do things differently in order to deliver a big win for Azimio One Kenya,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo’s announcement has averted rumours he is not a willing partner in the Azimio Coalition and the Kenya Kwanza has been trying to woo him to their side, promising a lucrative position for him in the formation.
