A Nakuru Court has released Senator Mithika Linturi in his case where he was accused of making his inflammatory 'madoadoa' utterances in Uasin Gishu during Deputy President William Ruto's rally.
This comes after the court said police failed to conclude investigations into his case.
Linturi was arrested on January 9, 2022, and was arraigned in court on January 11, 2022, before Justice Edna Nyaloti.
The court would release Linturi on a Sh2 million cash bail or a Sh5 million bond with a surety of the same amount.
Linturi was further instructed to report every Friday at noon to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters along Kiambu Road.
