Their announcement has come after the exit of ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and FORD-Kenya Moses Wetangula’s exit from OKA.

The new OKA leaders said they are still open to any partnerships with like-minded leaders and confirmed the interest of 10 other political parties in joining the alliance.

The leaders said Kenya’s diversity calls for heterogeneity of minds and ideas to effect impactful change.

“10 other political parties have expressed interest in joining the Coalition. This is because we believe that the diversity of our nation calls for heterogeneity of minds and ideas to effect impactful change,” they said.

OKA now comprises four parties namely Wiper, KANU, UDP and NARC-Kenya.
