The Interior CS was speaking about the issue rampant issue of voter bribery and false promises being made by a section of politicians.

Matiangi said there won’t be any conflict if political leaders refrained from making false promises, mismanaging campaign mobilization and bribery of the youth.

“If political leaders refrained from the trend of false-promising and mismanaging campaign mobilization, which involves chaotic bribing groups of young people, we in the security sector would have nothing to worry about,” Matiang’i said.

“It’s upon political leaders to conduct themselves in a decent manner and manage their affairs effectively.”
