A fuel tanker burst into flames on Thika Super Highway on Wednesday night.
The incident happened at around 8 pm near Githurai.
According to a witness report, the fire started from the truck's engine before spreading across the entire truck.

The fire brigade arrived at the scene and tried to extinguish the fire and stop it from causing further harm.
The incident caused a heavy traffic snarl-up along the road as motorists were stopped from going near the scene.
No casualties or injuries have been reported from the incident yet.
