Deputy President William Ruto’s blogger Dennis Itumbi has been found alive.
Itimbi went missing on Thursday after he was allegedly abducted by unknown individuals from a barber shop in Thindigua, along Kiambu road and forced into a vehicle which sped off in the direction of Nairobi CBD.

According to his brother David Itumbi's tweet, Itumbi claims to have been seriously beaten and tortured by the individuals who picked him up.
My brother has been badly beaten. We thank God that he is alive. On his own account he was arrested by police and beaten and tortured. This is the state we found him in. (See pictures) Please pray for his recovery. Asanteni for your many prayers and support pic.twitter.com/tXBmfHZPfM

Itumbi is currently receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
