ODM leader Raila Odinga has promised Kenyans to increase the doctor-patient ratio if elected as the 5th president in the next general elections.
Odinga said the move will intend to address the ongoing crisis in the health sector and bring it to internationally accepted standards.
Making his speech while attending the launch of Azimio La Kina Mama at the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) Auditorium, Nairobi County, Odinga said he will ensure the equitable distribution of doctors across the whole country to ensure service delivery to Kenyans.
Odinga said that he will ensure each sub-county in the country has at least one level five hospital to facilitate free services and ensure that they are properly staffed with enough personnel.
