The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed that the Ndichu brothers be charged with assault and malicious damage to property.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers based at Langata handling the case have said they have already informed the Ndichu’s lawyer to present them in court on Thursday as they have been out on bond.
“They are out on bond, but the lawyer has been informed to present them in court for plea taking of assault and malicious damage to property,” police said.
The two brothers Edward Ndichu and Paul Ndichu are accused of assaulting two sisters Stephanie Murgor and Cheryl on October 17, at Emara Ole Sereni Hotel.
The Murgor sisters were attending a party at the hotel in the company of their friends when one of the Ndichu brothers allegedly made an inappropriate move on Stephanie.

Stephani’s response somewhat irritated a female company of the Ndichu brothers.
According to the case documents, Stephanie was verbally assaulted and abused by one of the twins as she was leaving for the exit.
The events escalated into a full-blown fight and the hotel CCTV cameras at the hotel recorded the events as they unfolded.
The case was reported at Akila Police Station.
Since the incident, the Ndichu brothers have lost a lot in terms of their business and jobs.
A key investor in their Wapi Pay company, Kepple Africa Venture pulled out following the drama, and the Ndichu brothers also resigned from the company.
The brothers, however, denied ever assaulting anyone in a statement in which they also said they neither condone nor support violence against women.
