The second explosion was reported at Kooki towers, right opposite Central Police Station in the city.
Ugandan police and the Red Cross personnel have already arrived at the scenes and are assisting with tending to the injured.
However, it has not yet been established what caused the simultaneous explosions, but speculations are rife that they could be terrorist attacks.
The security team has ordered an evacuation of everyone in the parliament buildings. They have also launched an extensive search for any evidence in the scenes.
