Mogotio police have arrested an 18-year-old man for killing his elder brother in Kapndasum village in Koituimet sub-location.

The two brothers bickered over 40 beehives, that their left father had left behind after his demise

Alex Kalemaa Kiptoi accused his elder brother Joseph Kipsingor Kiptoi 43 of taking the lion’s share of the beehives their father bequeathed them. 

Alex shot his brother on his right thigh with an arrow and left him to bleed profusely to death.

Detectives processed the crime scene and recovered crucial evidence and exhibits for the suspect’s prosecution.

Alex was put in police custody while the body of his deceased brother was moves to a mortuary in Eldama Ravine.
