A female Kenyatta University student who has gained popularity on social media for calling for support for her new "chips mwitu" side hustle has come out to expose Nominated MP Millicent Omanga for embellishing donations she made to her business.
Bevalyne Kwamboka, fondly referred to as “chipo mwitu” girl, took to her Twitter page to set the record straight about the donations Omanga had made to her business on Monday.
Kwamboka clarified that the close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, who champions his hustler narrative and Bottom Up economics, only bought potatoes worth Sh350 for her.
She added that the MP's team allegedly came out of their car with five umbrellas and posed for photos with them together with Kwamboka before giving her only one and leaving with the rest.

According to Kwamboka, apart from the Sh350 worth of potatoes and the single umbrella, Omanga's aides only added her two aprons before leaving her business located at the Kware footbridge near Donholm estate in Nairobi.
She reiterated that she bought the sackful of potatoes that was caught by the camera in viral photos and that it was not part of Omanga's contribution as insinuated on social media.
Omanga had posted on her official Twitter page that Kwamboka was fully sorted by her donations of umbrellas, cash and stock to boost her hustle.
Bevalyne is an Education student at Kenyatta University (KU) who gained popularity after sharing her side hustle that she started with only Sh1,200 and now boasts of a profit of up to Sh4,000 per day.
