A family in Kapkoros, Nandi is in mourning following the tragic death of their patriarch.

The 42-year-old man was involved in a heated argument that quickly escalated into a brawl with his 17-year-old son over a matter that is yet to be established on Monday night.

The enraged young man is reported to have grasped a heavy rod and bludgeoned his old man on the head to unconsciousness.

Concerned neighbours responded to the man’s disastrous situation and rushed him to Miteitei Hospital in a state of unconsciousness.

Unfortunately, the man did not make it as he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Nandi Hills detectives apprehended the young man who is currently in custody as he awaits to be arraigned in court.
