“As I welcome the decision of ODM party to replace me as the Kilifi County ODM Party Chairman, I wish to take this opportunity to thank the Party and more particularly the party leader the Rt Hon. Raila Odinga for giving me the opportunity to serve as ODM Chairman,” his tweet partly read.
Kingi also noted his contribution to the ODM party during his tenure as the ODM chair in Kilifi County that ensured the party’s dominance in the county.
He prayed for his replacement and challenged him to match or break his record.
“I hope and pray that the incoming Chair and his team will match and/or break this sterling record,” he continued.
Last, he wished the ODM party well in Kilifi and the entire country as it prepared for the 2022 general election.
“I wish the Party the very best not just in Kilifi county but across the country as it prepares itself for the 2022 elections. God bless,” Kingi concluded.

This comes shortly after ODM announced it had removed Kingi from the position of Kilifi ODM chair and replaced him with Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire on acting capacity.
Apparently, Kingi was ejected from the position on claims of being disloyal to the party and its leader.
