Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Leader Raila Odinga has moved to quell the internal turmoil in the party following divisions over the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Raila on Monday met ODM Deputy Party Leader Wycliffe Oparanya, Senate Minority Leader James Orengo and Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo at his Nairobi residence.
In a post shared by Raila and ODM on their official Twitter accounts, the three are seen posing for a photo with the party leader as the party leader seeks to unite warring factions.
“Party Leader HE @RailaOdinga today held a meeting with his Deputy @GovWOparanya, Senate Minority Leader @orengo_james and Rarieda MP & Member of the Justice & Legal Affairs Committee Hon. Otiende Amolo at his residence. The unity of the party among other issues were discussed,” tweeted ODM.
However, in his post, Raila only shared a photo in which Amollo was missing while acknwledging meeting the rest, raising questions about the MP's fate.
