A shooting incident occurred in Nairobi's Central Business District on Moi Avenue in the afternoon of Friday 30th April 2021.
The shooting incident involved a popular Makutano Junction actor Ainea Ojiambo (Snake) after some thugs accosted him and attempted to rob him of his golden neck chain.
Ainea, a licensed firearm holder, was forced to draw his weapon and fire at the thugs. Upon realizing that the actor was armed, the thugs scampered for safety and missing the bullet.
Unfortunately, a security guard who was on duty at Cubes Exhibition Store and a passerby caught the stray bullets fired from Ainea's weapon.
CCTV footage has emerged showing Ainea conversing with an unidentified lady outside the shop before the thugs pounced on him and attempted to snatch a chain from his neck

The security guard was rushed to the hospital where some reports say he succumbed to his injury.
The police intervened and whisked the actor away to Central Police Station as irate members of the public advanced at the actor threatening to beat him up
Ainea is a renowned actor who has appeared in films such as The First Grader, Nairobi Half-Life, The Constant Gardener, The Rugged Priest, Bullion among others. He also featured in local TV series such as Makutako Junction, Noose of Gold and Block D.
