The victim in the defilement suit against UDA Mogotio MP candidate Reuben Kiborek has protested the continuous adjournment of the hearing of the case after the politician failed to appear in court on Tuesday.

A 16-year-old girl accused Kiborek of sexual assault on December 23, 2018, at Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Nakuru County.

According to the plaintiff's lawyer, the case had dragged and violated the standard procedure that such cases should be prosecuted within six months of their registration.

The lawyer said the matter has been mentioned twelve times yet has not proceeded to the hearing because of several adjournments.
