A man from Migori town had died after the woman he was planning to spend some good time with changed her mind at the last minute.

The man, 59, is said to have taken Viagra pills before booking a room to wait for her to finish eating.

The man, according to a police statement, later learnt that his lover was on her menses.

By the time the woman alerted the man in the room he had booked of her situation it was too late as he had already taken the blue pills. 

Trouble started when he started groaning forcing the woman to get help from the establishment as his condition deteriorated.

“The woman, who is currently in custody, rushed to the bar attendant and asked him to check on the man whose condition had started worsening,” the police statement said.

The man’s family was later notified of his passing by the bar tender who had taken him to a nearby hospital where he died on arrival.

Police are investigating the incident as the body was moved to Migori Level 4 Hospital morgue to await a postmortem.
