Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has promised to give newlyweds Sh500,000 to Sh1 million if he is elected as the next president in the coming general elections.

Mutua made the sentiments during the launch of his Manifesto dubbed 'fresh na Mutua', an event that took place at Panari Hotel, Nairobi County.

The flamboyant governor said the loan will be paid in 20 years at a rate of 0.5 per cent.

On issues to do with the Country's debt, Mutua said his government will show the need of negotiating debt by trading with the donor Countries.

Mutua also promised Kenyan musicians that he will revitalize the dying creative industry by introducing a law that initiates 80 per cent of shows and music aired on Television to be produced in Kenya.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader said that his government will encourage Kenyans to plant trees as a way to tackle climate change issues.

As a governor who has served for two terms, Mutua promised that his government will ensure County Government gets enough resources to run their daily activities.

Mutua will run for Presidency under his Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
