Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has refuted claims made by Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua that ODM leader can not match DP William Ruto’s campaign spirit.

Junet said Raila is a recognized brand that does not need to move in the entire country in search of votes.

“Ruto has come up with a new party called UDA and he is walking over in pursuit of votes, ODM is known in the whole country of Kenya and there is no need for us to run around like night runners", said Junet.

Junet added that UDA can not bring together Kenyans the way his party does regardless of the numerous rallies the party has done.

While in Murang'a County, Gachagua claimed that Raila is too old to keep up with the pace his party leader is going with across the country to do political rallies.

“Stop disturbing Raila. You have seen that William Ruto can attend 15 to 11 rallies now you also want baba to do the same. He is tired. The other day you saw that a chopper had to fetch him so that he can rest," Rigathi said.
