Kwale Court has issued a warrant of arrest for Nyali Member of Parliament Mohamed Ali.

The court issued the arrest warrant over a case where the MP stood as guarantor for a suspect who is facing terror-related charges.

The suspect Noordin Hassan Abdallah was expected to appear in court on October 4 and November 1, but he did not show up at all.

Ali was also summoned by the same court on October 4, 2021, but failed to appear before the court, an attempt that prompted the court to issue the warrant.

However, the MP has claimed that he is not aware of the said warrant, adding that the case was set to be heard at heard on November 18, 2021.

Ali added that he will work with the relevant authorities to ensure justice works for all the parties.
