The Directorate of Criminal Investigations have issued a wanted notice for a female police officer who is believed to be the key suspect behind the killing of Police Constable John Ogweno and another individual in Juja.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations have issued a wanted notice for a female police officer who is believed to be the key suspect behind the killing of Police Constable John Ogweno and another individual in Juja.

The suspect identified as Corporal Caroline Kangogo is said to have shot her boyfriend John Ogweno who was found dead, murdered in his car at the parking lot of the Kasarani police quarters in Nakuru.

John Ogweno was a police officer attached to crimes branch at the Nakuru Central Police Station.

Ogweno and Caroline were last spotted together before Ogweno’s body was discovered and Caroline went missing.

Efforts to reach Caroline through her mobile phone were futile as her phone was switched off.

Also missing was Ogweno’s firearm, a ceska pistol loaded with 15 rounds of ammunition.

In a separate but related incident, about 200Kms away in Juja, another suspect was found dead in a Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, juja at around 4:00 pm on 5th July 2021.

The cause of the man’s death was a gunshot to the head at close range.

Eyewitnesses and registration records placed Caroline at the hotel.

She had booked and paid the room before luring the second victim to his untimely and gruesome demise.

She later left the room by pretense that she was going to get a toothpaste and that is how she disappeared into the thin air.

The suspect, Caroline, is assumed to be armed and is considered dangerous therefore the DCI is cautioning members of the public especially the male gender to be wary of the officer who has apparently gone rogue.

Unconfirmed reports initially suggested that Caroline was involved in a love triangle but it is now assumed that she is on a killing spree, luring men and killing them in cold blood.
