Renowned Nigerian televangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua has died at 57.

T. B. Joshua passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the evening shortly after concluding a program at his church in Lagos, Nigeria.

He was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos, Nigeria.

The cause of his death is yet to be established but speculations have it he may have succumbed to Covid-19 related conditions.

His ministry has issued an official statement confirming his death on social media:

The man of God was only 6 days shy of celebrating his 58th birthday.

The televangelist is popular for his controversial prophecies about unique events in different parts of the world.
