Thousands of motorists in Nairobi spend Tuesday night on the road following heavy traffic jams witnessed across the city roads for most of the day.
Majority of motorists who used Uhuru Highway, Langata road, Mombasa road, Thika Road, Outerring road among others witnessed traffic snarl ups from hell the whole day Tuesday.

The heavy rains that have been pounding the city since last week conspired with ongoing road works, flooded drainages and back-to-school rushes to give city motorists lasting headaches.

Motorists shared their lamentations online on the situation on most roads on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with some saying by 1am they were yet to reach their houses.
