Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has announced that it will close some of its clinics from the 25th to 27th December 2021.
The closure will also extend to January 1, 2022, when people will be celebrating the new year.
However, those patients who will be in need of urgent medical attention, will be attended to at various facilities where the accident and emergency, paediatric emergency unit and labour wards will be operational.
The announcement comes after the institution partnered with 'Acquire Joy At Work Program, to developed an online tool that will cater for burn out and stress among KNH staff to support mental health.

Currently, the hospital has a bed capacity of 1,800, 6000+ staff members, 50 wards, 22 out-patient clinics, 24 theaters (16 specialized), and Accident and Emergency Department.
