David Gitari Itumbi, a digital communications expert, has been feted as the Digital Communication Practitioner of the Year 2024 by the Information Communication Technology Association of Kenya (ICTAK).

Gitari bagged the prestigious award as a testament of his exemplary contribution as the Digital Communication Manager at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

While receiving the award, he thanked God, his family, and team at KICC for supporting him through his journey in digital communication and innovation for the national government.

“This recognition is not just about me—it’s a collective achievement. My parents, siblings, team, and friends have all played a pivotal role in shaping my success,” said Gitari.
