Former Sports, Heritage and Culture CS Amina Mohamed has been installed as the new chancellor of the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in neighbouring Uganda.

During the ceremony conducted on February 15, 2023, the institution lauded Ambassador Amina saying they trust she will steer the university to greater heights and achievements.

“We are positive that the Chancellor’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding the institution towards more outstanding achievements,” IUEA said after Amina’s installation.

In her acceptance speech, Amb Amina undertook to lead the students to realise their full potential in the academic institution.
