Media personality Grace Kuria has quit China Global Television Network (CGTN) only months after joining their Nairobi-based bureau.

Grace has left the Chinese state-funded and run media house after working for the media company for 7 short months as the New Media Editor.

She took to her social media accounts to announce her exit on Monday but failed to disclose what her next career move would be.

In her tweet, Grace expressed her gratitude to the Chinese media house for offering her the opportunity to work with them for the past few months.

She also said she was excited about the next phase of her media career.

"Some personal news! Today, I leave CGTN Africa a better person than I was months ago, with greater insight on digital media," she stated.

She added, "Forever grateful for the opportunity. Excited about the next phase of my career. God takes all the glory."

Before joining CGTN, Grace Kuria had worked at the Mombasa-Road based KTN, which she joined a few years earlier from K24, which launched her news anchoring career.
