Education CS George Magoha is set to release the results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations on Thursday afternoon.

The results of the KCPE exams that were supposed to taken by the candidates last year are expected to be announced by Magoha after he presents them to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The candidates sat the exams in March under the revised schools calendar that was disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic leading to all learning being suspended last year.

The CS had pledged that those marking the KCPE papers would do so considering the tough circumstances under which the candidates sat the papers due to Covid-19 restrictions.

After the results are officially out Thursday afternoon, the KCPE candidates and their parents can get their exam results by sending their index number to SMS code 20076.

Each text message is charged Sh25 by the mobile service provider.
