Boyz II Men, one of the most iconic R&B groups in the music world, is finally coming to Kenya in less than two months' time!

The American vocal harmony group of three - Nathan Morris (baritone), and tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman – will perform their iconic love ballads at this year’s edition of the Stanbic Yetu Festival.

The festival is a partnership between Stanbic Bank and Radio Africa and the performance expected to be electrifying has been scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Nairobi.

This year’s edition of the Stanbic Yetu Festival in Nairobi is expected to feature an exhilarating lineup mixing Kenyan and international Rhythm and Blues (RnB) artists.

Boyz II Men will headline the festival sponsored by Stanbic in an effort to give Kenyans in attendance a lasting, unique, unforgettable and authentic live music experience.

Among the most memorable classics Boyz II Men has belted during their career spanning 25 years include, End Of The Road, I’ll Make Love To You, On Bended Knees, One Sweet Day, It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday, Motownphilly and A song for Mama.

The group has bagged 9 American Music Awards, 9 Soul Train Awards, 3 Billboard Awards, the 2011 MOBO Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Boyz II Men will perform in Kenya in the first leg of their first-ever Africa tour before they head on to Uganda and conclude with South Africa.


DJ G-Money (Conrad Gray), DJ Forro (Andrew Waititu), Dj Shaky (Allan Wainaina), DJ Grauchi (Zacchaeus Ngani), CNG (Charles Githumbi) and DJ Cream (Derrick Kamau) will be on the turntables at the festival.

Pernod Ricard Kenya will be the spirits category sponsor with their brands including Jameson, Chivas, Glenlivet, Martell, Absolut Vodka, Ballentine’s and the Royal Salute.

Sankara Hotel will continue as this year’s Stanbic Yetu Festival’s hotel partner while Kenya Airways will be the official airline partner.


During last year’s event, American multi-award-winning RnB artiste Anthony Hamilton was the headline act with Kenya’s Otile Brown and June Gachui being the curtain raisers.

Standard Bank Group has sponsored music events in Kenya, South Africa, Zambia and Malawi with the Kenyan annual festival continuing to grow in popularity and stature.
