Keroche heiress and daughter of Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja Keroche has told off guests invited to birthday parties who go empty-handed without gifts for the host.


Anerlisa took to the instastory section of her Instagram account to take such people by the horns.

In her rant, Anerlisa wondered how someone would attend a birthday party without bringing a gift.

“I Have Never Understood How You Get Invited For Birthdays or Weddings But Don't Even Bring A Gift,” Anerlisa wrote.

She further asserted that flowers, which most people carry to birthday events are not gifts.

According to her, going to a birthday party empty-handed especially one that took so much financial effort to pull off is rather rude.

“Flowers Are Not a Gift... I Mean, Somebody Has Spent So Much Putting Their Event Together and Then You come To Their Party Empty Handed?” she wondered.

This comes as a shock to many, especially because it would be difficult to gift someone like Anerlisa because she comes from a wealthy family and probably can buy anything she wants.

A section of Kenyans also felt that was a downgrade from her earlier stand that a real woman avoids drama and doesn't waste her time on unimportant things.

"A real woman avoids drama, she knows her time is precious, and she’s not wasting it on unimportant things," she said.
