Kamba gospel artist Stephen Kasolo has apologised to the public after a viral video he shared in which he was captured threatening to strangle his daughter after she broke a water bottle.
Kasolo took to his Instagram account to offer an apology to his daughter Shine and his fans.
The musician maintained he had no intentions to harm his daughter as he revealed the video has brought a lot of tension on social media.
“I want to take this opportunity to apologise to my baby @shinekasolo and all our fans for the video which is going viral, I never meant any harm to my daughter and I never will, neverthe less it has brought alot of tension on social media. Kindly forgive me this will never happen again am sorry even before God,” Kasolo said.
In the viral video, Kasolo is seen reprimanding his daughter allegedly for breaking an expensive water bottle.
He also asked the little girl to explain to his audience why she broke the bottle or else he would strangle her.
“Should I strangle you, should I kill you,” Kasolo is heard saying as he gestures the action.
Despite her father’s threats, the little girl assured her father of her love.
“I love you, daddy,” the little girl said amid sobs.
