Popular rapper Kevin Ombima alias King Kaka has shared details on his illness that left him hospitalized and saw him lose weight drastically.

He has revealed to his fans that he is yet to recuperate.

Taking to his official social media pages, the rapper narrated his ordeal since he was admitted to the hospital and how he has been battling the disease which he is yet to reveal to the public.

He revealed that he was admitted and the doctors performed a surgical procedure that saw his hip bone drilled for a bone marrow test and that was when he felt that the world was turning darker as he had to fight for his life.

He accompanied his lengthy caption with a photo of himself looking weak and emaciated.

King Kaka narrated that every time his moms and his wife Nana Owiti visited him in the hospital he would always force a smile but in the real sense, things were not okay.

 “That’s me, still can’t believe it. 2days after I was admitted and they had just finished drilling on my hip bone for a bone marrow sample.

“I was in between worlds fighting to see my family once more. I would force my last smile when Nana & Moms visited but truth is the nights got darker and I would be back in the ring with life.

“It’s a feeling and place you can’t put in words nights when the devil threw in a few suggestions but the light got stronger for me to listen,” Kaka penned on his social media pages.

The star went ahead revealing that he has not yet fully recovered even though there are improvements. He thank God for giving him a chance to see another day even despite the tough times.

The dundaing hitmaker also thanked the medics, his family and fans for praying, supporting and taking good care of him.

“Not yet out of the woods but I’ve just realized that waking up is a Blessing, are you able to eat? That’s a blessing. Do you have a support system?

That’s a blessing. Very thankful to Dr. Adil, Dr. Stanley and Dr. Aggrey. Very thankful to the amazing nurses Wanjiku, Vio, Chacha, Peter and the rest,” Kaka wrote.

The musician also assured his fans that he will in a later date give out the whole story and reveal his ailment.

“One day I will tell the full story but as of now I have summarized it in a song. I know we have different struggles, I hope that this song revamps the little hope and light left in you. You have a destiny and God has a plan for you.”
