Celebrated comedian Stella Bunei better known as Jemutai has distanced herself from a Facebook account impersonating her and conning people.

Taking to her official Facebook page, she exposed the fake account bearing her name and has over 50,000 followers.

She toughly warned her fans against falling prey to the impersonator who was identified as Bylon Rondi by his M-PESA name.

Jemutai also revealed that she has called the person several times and warned him against conning people using her name but all her effort were futile.

She however noted that it’s time she takes the matter to the authorities so that it can be dealt with accordingly.

“The guy running the fake Jemutai Churchill account is called Bylon Rondi. I have got all his numbers. I have asked him severally to stop, but he continues to use the account to con innocent Kenyans and post some sensitive posts using my images. It’s just a matter of time,” Jemutai said.
