Popular Tanzanian bongo musicians Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba have given life to their beef which seemed to have been quashed long ago.

Diamond, who loves being called simba took to his Instagram page to provoke Alikiba by accusing him of buying YouTube songs after his new song featuring Maryokun gained massive views.

Diamond, while weighing in, found it weird for a big star of Kiba's stature to buy views stating that he must accept the fact that he is not loved by netizens.

“Real definition of a hit na wimbo pendwa… Ubaya wa vyakununua haupati vitu kama hivi,” said Diamond.

A short while ago, Kiba responded to the 'Waah' hitmaker by posting a meme on his Instagram account pointing out that Diamond is just jealous.

The video depicted Kenyan artist Stivo Simple Boy advising someone to cope with challenges.

“Inauma lakini itabidi uzoee which means (It hurts, but you have to get used to it),” read the caption.

Alikiba’s new song dubbed ‘jealous’ released on Friday last week took the music airwaves by storm after hitting over 1 million views in just 12 hours beating Diamond's record.

It has since garnered over 4.1 million views on the platform and counting while Diamond Platnumz’s new song dubbed ‘Iyo’ release on Thursday has 3 million views.
