A man identified as DJ Godfrey Zawadi who whose dreadlocks were shaved for failing to pay the saloonist after the services has broken silence.

According to the DJ, he and the woman only identified as Judy, knew each other pretty well and even had strikes a deal on when and how to pay the money.

Zawadi, however admitted that he failed to pay the debt on time as agreed due to unavoidable circumstances but noted that he was planning on how to settle the debt.

Adding on, the city DJ disclosed that he has never seen the men who attacked him until that day.

He revealed he was beaten thoroughly and even lost his two phone and jewellery among other items.

“They roughed me up badly yet I owed them nothing, I only owed the lady, the got away my IPhone 6 and an Android phone and jewellery.”

He further advised fellow youths telling them to invest more in their families than friends as only family will stand with them during tough moments in life.

Zawadi concluded by noting that he has recorded a statement at at Kayole Police Station
