Youtuber Peter Kabi alias Kabi WaJesus, has now admitted to lying about being the father of baby Abby, whom he sired with his alleged cousin, a lady named Ciku, seven years ago.

Kabi was forced to come out with the admission after a woman named Dzendere shared on Insta-Stories the outcome of a paternity test that supposedly proved he was the child’s dad.

Dzendere, said to be a cousin to both Kabi and Ciku, shared the DNA results on Wednesday.

“DNA was read it was positive 99.9%. We will have a copy soon as the lawyer sends it. Yes, Kabi is the father, for those asking what positive means,” Dzendere posted on Instagram.

As soon as she made the revelation, Kabi issued a statement on his social media pages on Thursday morning and admitted he was Abby’s father and he lied about it when the story first came out calling him out as an alleged dead beat.

“Hey guys and praise Jesus. Some of you might be aware of the matter involving me regarding baby Abby. I wish to confirm that yesterday paternity results were issued that confirmed that I am the biological father of the child. The results confirm that in 2013, which was before I got born again and married, I sired Abby.

“I know this news comes as a shock to many of you who follow and watch us. I also know that my public comments about this matter gave a false impression which I deeply regret. Now with the paternity results out, it’s a relief as we can now chat the way forward together with the mother for the welfare of our child. I am immediately reaching out to her so that we can discuss and agree on her future.”

He apologised to his fans and followers for his poor handling of the matter when it was first exposed through the suspected cousin to blogger Edga Obare a few month ago.

“I know I must take full responsibility for all my actions, to my child, to my family and also to you my fans. I have sought forgiveness from God, my family and I also seek your forgiveness. Moving forward I will do everything in my power to take care of my child as a father,” kabi added.

In his explanation when the story broke out, Kabi denied fathering the child saying Abby was his niece and that her mother, Ciku, was his cousin and that they had no sexual relationship, a position his wife Milly backed saying they were being maliciously targeted.

He came out at the time after a photo of Ciku and her baby emerged as she accused him of abandoning the child they got in 2013 before he got married to his current wife, Millicent Wambui alias Milly WaJesus.

“The lady you see in this picture is my cousin and the baby we took this picture with is called Abby, she is my niece. How can someone say you are the father of your cousin’s child?” he posed at the time while denying the baby.

The said DNA was reportedly ordered by the court after the said cousin took him to court to prove his paternity and to demand upkeep for their child.
