Former Homeboyz Radio presenter Shaffie Weru has threatened to institute legal action action against his former employer Radio Africa Group for “unlawful termination” last week.

In a letter from his lawyers, Shaffie has given RAG 7 days to admit liability for allegedly violating his Constitutional rights, saying he was sacked without being given a fair hearing.

According to a letter from his lawyers, MMA Advocates, should his former employer admit liability they will compute all his financial entitlement for the years he worked for RAG.

Shaffie, through his lawyers, argues that he only learnt of his termination on social media despite working for Radio Africa Group as a “diligent” employee for the last 18 years.
