Swahili anchor Harith Salim has finally landed a new job at K24 tv months after being fired from NTV during a mass layoff by the Aga Khan owned station, where he had worked for more than a decade.

Salim made the announcement on his social media pages in the weekend sharing how God had shown His hand on him after he was declared redundant by NTV in mass layoffs executed earlier this year.

The soft-spoken but talented Swahili anchor will be hosting the K24 Wikendi news segment at 7pm as announced in a promotion poster he shared on his Instagram page on the move to Mediamax Limited.

He also shared a video showing the behind-the-scenes processes he was part of at K24 tv followed by the comment ''Mmmmmmh'' attracting congratulatory messages from his fans.

Salim was sacked on July 3 alongside Ken Mijungu, Debarl Inea, Sharon Baranga, Brenda Wanga, Ng’ang’a Mbugua among others in what Nationa Media Group termed as dwindling revenues.
