Co-parenting is really a challenging task even for exes who came into mutual agreements. This may cause serious mama/daddy drama.

The latest baby mama/daddy drama making headlines on social media is that of popular comedian Eric Omondi and media personality Jacque Maribe.

Maribe took to social media to lament that Eric had become an absent figure in the life of their son, Zahari and left her to struggle with all the responsibilities of the child.

However, in a twist of events, Eric has stated that he is unsure whether the 6-year-old boy is his own. The comedian disclosed he has asked Maribe several times to allow for a DNA test to establish if the baby is his, but she has always refused.

In an Instagram post shared by the comedian, he first interacted with Maribe in 2012 at the Radio Jambo during a staff party and later had a one-night stand with her after they were highly intoxicated.

Eric added that at the time they engaged in sexual intercourse, Maribe was in a relationship with Sam Ogina.

“So we met at Radio Africa in 2012. I was working at Radio Jambo and Jacque was working at Kiss TV. So one Random night after a Radio Africa Staff Party and after a few bottles of whiskey and wine glasses Jacque and I happened. It was really a one-night thing because she was dating KTN’s Sam Ogina at the time,” he wrote in part.

The comic further insisted that they used protection, but what shocked him was the news of Maribe’s pregnancy two months later.

“After two Months Jacque tells me she’s Pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used Protection??? She then tells me “It doesn’t matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!!! During the entire Pregnancy nothing happened and we barely saw each other,” part of the statement reads.

Four months later, Maribe approached the comedian and asked him to be part of her baby’s life, but Eric demanded a DNA test so that he could comfortably take responsibility for the little one. Unfortunately, Maribe seemed offended and turned down his request.

“Roughly 4 months after the baby was born Jacque called me and asked me if I would help or be part of the baby’s life. I asked her for a DNA test so that I could comfortably be part of the baby’s life and SUPPORT fully. She got very offended and Refused my request,” noted Eric.

The star disclosed it is now seven years, and he still is requesting a DNA test, but the mother keeps refusing his request. He stated he is ready to become a responsible father but only after they do the rightful thing.

“For 7 seven years I have begged Jacque to allow us have a DNA Test and she has CONTINUALLY refused!!! I don’t mind supporting the child but if you want me to be FULLY PRESENT and SUPPORTIVE, if you Want me to be a FATHER. Then we have to do the RIGHT THING,” Eric concluded.
